Nordic Security Days 2008
The Nordic Security Days 2008 are over, and we would like to thank all speakers and participants for making this event a success. Both the Security for the Citizens Workshop and NordSec 2008 attracted 70 participants each from Danish and international companies and universities. On this web site you can find information on the events' programs and invited speakers, as well as
pictures of the event (thanks to Hubert Baumeister). You can also read a Danish article on the Nordic Security Days in DTU's university newspaper DTU Avisen.
The Nordic Security Days 2008 were held from October 8 to October 10, 2008, at
the Technical University of Denmark. For information on NordSec 2009 and the Nordic Security Day 2009, please visit this website.
The event comprised the Security for
the Citizens Workshop on October 8th, where a number of Danish
research projects presented their results. The workshop program
included invited talks given by John Smith (IBM) and Wolfram Schulte
(Microsoft Research).
The event also comprised the NordSec
2008 Workshop on October 9th-10th focusing on the theme
"Security for Citizens". The workshop program included invited
talks given by Michael
Huth from Imperial College London and Audun Jøsang from
the University of Oslo.
Finally, a meeting of the Erasmus Mundus students participating in
the NordSecMob Master's
Programme took place on October 6th-10th.
