NordSec 2008

The 13th Nordic Workshop on Secure IT-systems was held on October 9th-10th, 2008, at the Technical University of Denmark.

This year NordSec focused on the theme "Security for the Citizens". The workshop was held as part of the Nordic Security Days 2008.

Since 1996, the NordSec workshops have brought together computer security researchers and practitioners from the Nordic countries, Northern Europe, and elsewhere. The workshop is focused on applied computer security and is intended to encourage interchange and cooperation between research and industry.

This year the NordSec 2008 workshop program included invited talks given by Michael Huth from Imperial College London and Audun Jøsang from the University of Oslo.

More information, including the call for papers, can be found through the links on the left. Note that the very best technical papers may be invited to submit to a special issue of the Journal of Science of Computer Programming.

Pictures of the event are now available (thanks to Hubert Baumeister).
